Post-acute care on our Skilled Nursing Unit:
Following an illness or injury requiring a hospital visit, many of our loved ones are eligible for a short stay in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Our staff of licensed skilled nurses, therapists, dietician, social worker and activities director will build a Care Plan to work toward restoring health and returning patients back to their prior level of living - or better!
COVID Recovery Unit
The symptoms from COVID-19 are different for every patient. Often, at-home care just isn't enough. Meridian Care of Alice helps bridge the gap by providing in-patient skilled nursing care for those in need in the community. Our medical team will manage the care of post-COVID-19 patients while monitoring their vitals and their recovery.
