This newly remodeled State-of-the-Art Facility is named in honor of Meridian Care of Alice's original founders, The Drake Family.
Our Drake Unit is a fully secured, private unit of our care facilities where we specialize in caring for patients with Alzheimers and Dementia.
Each Resident lives in a Private Room regardless of their payor source.
What We Offer
TRAINED STAFF
Certified Dementia trained Director of Nursing and Administrator along with licensed nursing staff on site 24 hours per day.
The Drake has a Unit Manager and we offer consistent staff.
We develop routine care plans that assist the resident transitioning.
ENVIRONMENT
We have secured doors and camera systems throughout the building.
We encourage Residents to bring in personal belongings to create a homelike environment and spark memories.
AMENITIES
Our newly remodeled facility offers many open gathering areas for Residents and families to visit.
Private Rooms for all Drake Residents.
Balanced meals preparation.
ACTIVITIES
Our 7 day a week activities program is designed and specialized for Dementia and Alzheimer patients geared toward memory improvement.
The Exercise Program and Music Memory Program are an example of these activities.
